Aloha e ʻOhana,
“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” – John F Kennedy. I am thankful for our Teachers, Kumu, and Staff at Pūʻōhala School for the time, effort, and enthusiasm they provide instruction and support for all our students. I am thankful to our parents and legal guardians for their patience and understanding during this school year. Lastly, I want to thank our students for their RESILIENCE in enduring our new learning way on and off-campus. I am thankful for the RELATIONSHIPS I have begun to build with some families and students, and I am eager to build relationships with all of our families and students. I am thankful for my fourth-grade Elementary Teacher, Elly Tepper, and my High School Math Teacher, Katherine Baldwin. Both of them saw my strengths and helped me reach my potential. Many teachers, friends, and family members have helped me successfully earn my first Principalship at Pūʻōhala School, and I am grateful for them, and this opportunity to lead our school. Mahalo. This season, I wanted to remind everyone that we need to celebrate and be thankful for everyoneʻs safety.
