Aloha Pūʻōhala Ohana,
Just one more week until haumana and kumu go out on spring break for a week! Join our facebook page and share about some ohana activities you partake in over the break! Here are some announcements for Malaki/March: 1) Every Family Counts - See the attached flyer. Ohana experiencing housing hardships matter to us all. The Family Promise resource center will want to hear from you this Thursday, March 10th. Please spread the word to your own ohana or friends that should make the call and be counted. 2) Blackberries! - That's our fresh fruit of the week to be served this Wednesday, March 9th. 3) REPAVING OF PARKING LOT - March 14-18 our asphalt from the stop sign, through the parking lot and down the firelane will all be repaved! Therefore, the only access to our office will be by parking and walking in from Kulauli Street. We should have beautiful surfaces upon return from break on Monday, March 21st. 4) T-SHIRTS available for purchase - we have a good amount of previously printed Pūʻōhala tshirts in celebration of 50 years. These are $5 in youth sizes only. Here is the picture of the two colors we have. These can be purchased at the office 7:30 - 4:15pm. 5) Lost and Found - These are just a few items that have lost their owner. Contact the office to claim or have your child pick it up in the cafeteria. There are more clothing items in the Counselor's office. 6) KUHIO DAY - NO SCHOOL , Friday, March 25th Mahalo!
