Aloha Pūʻōhala ʻOhana!
HERE ARE SOME UPDATES AND REMINDERS: 1) We are wrapping up the first quarter of school! There are only two weeks left until we head out to fall break: Oct.11th through 15th. You will soon receive sign-ups for our virtual Family-Student-Teacher conferences to be held Nov.2-5 12:30 - 2:50pm, SCHOOL ENDS 12 NOON. Students will be released at 12 noon for those 4 days. Please plan accordingly. 2) MASKS: Our students have been troopers with mask wearing, hand washing and distancing. The distancing has been a little more of a struggle but we keep working with them and reminding them. For the mask wearing, a majority of our students are doing a great job, we just ask that you send them with properly fitted masks and extra's in their bag. Our promise to all staff and ʻohana is that we would continue with mask wearing and we would like to keep that promise to everyone by wearing them properly over mouth and nose. 3) TIMELINESS: We'd like to remind everyone the first bell rings at 7:45 signaling the end of breakfast and 5 minutes till school starts. The teachers gather the students between 7:45 and 7:50 from the cafeteria. It is important for your keiki to have a great start to their day by having breakfast and starting with their classmates on time. 4) Pūʻōhalaween! If you are interested in helping organize a Halloween event for our keiki to be held Friday, Oct. 29th, please email VP Ostermiller at [email protected]. Mahalo! Pūʻōhala Administration and Staff
