Aloha Pūʻōhala ʻOhana, This is a follow up message to clarify that Pūʻōhala School has chosen Model B, “Blended Rotation,” where all students are on a rotation; priority will be given to K-2 and vulnerable students for daily face-to-face instruction to the greatest extent possible; groupings of students will be based on two groups by alpha last name; where one group of students will be present on campus receiving face-to-face instruction while the other group participates in distance learning. Due to the constantly changing nature of our Stateʻs health status, all of the information shared is subject to change based on the most current information provided by the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health. More detailed information will be shared in the coming week, regarding the specific days for your students to attend, our COVID-19 bell schedule as well as our "Shaka distance" safety plan. Mahalo!
