Aloha Pūʻōhala ʻOhana!
As we prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, the excitement and apprehension are evident on campus as well as throughout the community. We know these are unsettling times and we thank you in advance for continuing to entrust us with educating your children. Next week, from August 17th through the 20th, the State Department of Education has allowed this short window for schools to meet with their students. This will be an important time to receive technology instruction and support and for some of you, devices. We have our classrooms set up to keep social distancing of 6ft as well as the requirement that all people, staff, and students, wear a cloth facial covering. We have a strict restroom use procedure, signs at the sinks for wash reminders, as well as guides on the floor to remind all of the 6ft distancing. Your kumu/teachers should be reaching out via email or phone call to tell you of your child's specialized schedule for next week. Every class will keep to no more than 8 students at a time. Please read the attachments for more details about meals to be provided. Letter re week of aug17 - TO ALL OHANA (1).pdf We also need your help with technology information. Please fill out the survey here https://bit.ly/pueotech2021. Don't forget the Meet and Greet tomorrow, Thursday, Aug.13 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Register at https://bit.ly/3ABNHU6 any time. Click the 'register' word in blue. You can do it right before meeting starts, however it may take longer for you to be admitted into the meeting. Mahalo!! Pūʻōhala Administration
